Walk Children Center’s Outreach to Nakuru Prison

Reaching Beyond Borders

In a powerful display of community outreach, Walk Children Center led by the founder, Pst. Alex Maina Muhoro, reached out to Nakuru Prison, located just 750 meters from our center. Understanding the importance of supporting all members of our community, we extended our services to both the officers and inmates of the prison.

Bringing Joy Behind Bars

On a designated day, our team arrived at Nakuru Prison with donations of books and football equipment. These simple yet impactful gifts aimed to bring joy and a sense of connection to those within the prison walls. As we distributed these items, the gratitude and smiles we received were a testament to the positive impact of our outreach efforts.

Commitment to Community

This experience serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of our community and the importance of extending support to all its members, regardless of their circumstances. We are committed to continuing our efforts to uplift and support those in need, and we are grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the officers and inmates of Nakuru Prison. Together, we can continue to spread love, hope, and healing throughout our community.
